Tarx is built with privacy as a core principle. We believe your data should remain yours, and we've designed Tarx to be local-first by default.

Data Storage

By default, all your conversations, memories, and data are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your personal conversations or data unless you explicitly opt into cloud features.

Web Demo

The web demo is limited to 5 messages per session and does not store your conversations. We do not log or store the content of your web demo conversations.

Cloud Features (Optional)

When you opt into cloud features like voice processing or cross-device sync:

• We only process data you explicitly choose to sync
• All cloud processing is transparent and auditable
• You can opt out at any time
• We use industry-standard encryption for all data transmission

Analytics

We collect minimal, anonymized usage analytics to improve Tarx. This includes:

• App version and platform information
• Feature usage (without content)
• Crash reports and error logs
• No personal data or conversation content

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Export all your data at any time
• Delete all your data from our systems
• Opt out of all cloud features
• Request information about what data we have
